About A-1 STAFFING

A-1 STAFFING was founded in January, 1998 in Shawnee Mission, KS. From the very inception of the company, our intention has always been to grow quickly so we could locate a staffing branch or recruiting office within 15 - 20 minutes maximum of any applicant or potential client in Greater Kansas City. For that reason, the company has grown annually through both new customers and competitor acquisitions. The Shawnee Mission location subsequently moved to 87th Street in Overland Park, KS, where we have staffed Johnson County for the past seven years.

• In May, 1999, we acquired H R Staffing in Independence, MO.
• Through internal growth we opened a branch in Kansas City North on Labor Day, 1999.
• In June, 1999, we acquired Excess Personnel Services in Kansas City, KS.
• In May, 2005, we opened a satellite office in Emporia, KS
